samesame coliving is divided into two old traditional buildings remodeled by a young Portuguese team of architects, designed to guarantee the best resting conditions for the colivers. It has shared or private apartments with a minimum stay of 8 nights.

Before making a reservation, please note that the minimum stay at the coliving is 8 nights.
For stays of 28 nights or more, the daily rate decreases. After that, we offer special rates for 3 and 6 month stays.

Choose your preferred room and stay period. When you proceed, you won’t be charged immediately, as we first need to check our availability and verify that all the provided information is correct. If you choose to change rooms during your stay, a swapping fee may apply.

FAQ

A coliving is a new way of living and belonging, borrowed from an old Danish concept of the 60’s. It is a place where you can sleep, rest, work and live a lifestyle set on convenience, community, and comfort, where collaboration, open-mindedness and tolerance are key. At samesame, colivers live together in two buildings that are adjacent, share common areas, common values and similar journeys. However, we can host you in shared or private rooms. 

The application to become a coliver is easy and can be fully done online. However, if you are around, you can come and visit, take a tour and apply in-person. Either way, you will need to finish the process on our website and choose your preferred room. In 24 hours, we will reply to your request through email for the payment. 

A small community of like-minded people, coming from all different parts of the globe and different backgrounds: they can be digital nomads, remote workers, expats, business travelers in the different creative fields such as design, art or marketing. On a daily basis, you also can co-work with local creatives by booking a seat in one of our coworking spaces or looking for free available spot at the hot desk (only for colivers).

Inside samesame, you have several places where you can work as well as desks and dining table. However, if you are looking for a creative and productive environment, we have the coworking space with special fees for the residents.

The coworking space is included in a hot-desk system. It is a shared table with 6 seats reserved only for colivers and which operates on a first-come, first-served basis. In case you want to rent a fixed paid spot, we have a special range of prices for the family members and the possibility to use the space 24/7.

There are a total of 16 bedrooms divided in the two buildings: five on the 2nd floor and four on the 3rd floor at Madalena’s building plus 6 bedrooms and 1 apartment at Beco’s building. 

Shared areas are all the areas outside your bedroom and bathroom. From the kitchen to the living room and any other corners you can find around the coliving. Except if you book a private apartment, then you don’t have to share the kitchen and living room.  

All bills are included in a single fee: rent, electricity, water, and WiFi. Additionally, this fee covers weekly room cleaning and the changing of towels and sheets, as well as access to a host desk at coworking. Laundry service is available at an extra cost and can be requested as needed. 

It is only possible to receive a 50% refund of the total amount paid if there are at least 30 days left before check-in. 

Although we love pets, unfortunately we cannot host them as colivers unless you choose a private apartment for your stay. 

You can invite friends if your housemates agree — we encourage our residents to host their own community events in any shared space. If your friend wants to sleep with you in the same room, it is always possible since your chosen room has a double bed, and we only charge a 10€ fee per night. 

Want a shorter stay?

If you are looking for a short stay, you can choose one of our private studios or apartments and book it for at least 2 days.
